Cleveland Browns trade target No. 2: Allen Robinson, WR

Another guy I really like who could be on the move is Allen Robinson, the star receiver for the Chicago Bears. Not only have the Bears struggled in 2021, Robinson also has not had near the year he expected.

After having 200 catches and nearly 1,400 yards receiving to go along with 13 touchdowns the last two seasons, Robinson has been limited to 23 catches for 250 yards and one touchdown in seven games this season. Not exactly the stats you expect from a guy making $18 million on the franchise tag.

With long-term discussions stalling the last offseason, the Bears could easily look to move on before the end of the season. Not only could the Browns land a receiver for the remainder of 2021, but a trade would also give them a leg-up on a long-term deal.

Robinson would require big money, but remember, the Browns can move on from Landry and OBJ at the end of OBJ for nearly no cost. You may have to give Robinson $20 million per year, but that is still $10 million less than the combined 30 million you are paying Landry and OBJ currently.

With pieces like Anthony Schwartz and Donovan Peoples-Jones, I think a trade like this could make a ton of sense for the Browns. Remember, this is a wide receiver heavy draft again, the team could also add a nice talent in one of the first three rounds of the 2022 draft.
