Cleveland Browns 5 best victories over Pittsburgh Steelers

The Must-Win Game To Reach Playoffs
Last season, with new head coach Kevin Stefanski in charge, the team was maneuvering through the COVID pandemic and yet had a remarkable year. But in the last couple of games, the team had stumbled a bit and needed to beat the Steelers to get into the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
It was a nail-biting time for the team, fans, and the city. The game was controlled for the most part by the Browns. They got up in the game 24-9 early in the 3rd quarter and with a good run game and Nick Chubb carrying the ball on the day it seemed like they were on their way to a comfortable win.
But nothing is easy when we cheer for the Orange and Brown. Late in the game Pittsburgh was able to mount a comeback and close he score to 24-22. The Browns had to stop the Steelers on the two-point attempt to tie the game and they did.
Then the game was left to the offense and their quarterback Baker Mayfield to run out the clock. If you had any nails left at this point you were lucky. Facing a third down and one near midfield Mayfield took the ball on a designed quarterback run, and getting tremendous blocking from his offensive linemen and his other talented running back Kareem Hunt he was able to slide home past the markers to secure the team’s huge win.
Now it would be off to Pittsburgh again to face the same team a week later in a playoff game.
