Cleveland Browns Plate No. 1: Joel Bitonio

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and pancakes?

One of those is not like the others for a traditional Thanksgiving feast, but just stay with me.

When you think of Joel Bitonio, you think of one of the staples of the Cleveland Browns offensive line and you also think of pancakes, which is why they were added to the Thanksgiving menu.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with how pancakes correlate to football, let me break it down for you. When a blocker, mainly an offensive lineman, puts a defender convincingly on the ground, they call it a pancake.

Bitonio has had so many pancakes throughout his potential Hall of Fame career that he seriously needs to consider opening up a pancake business in Cleveland. Think of all the money he could make based off breakfast food? Another option is he could run a pancake house and then donate the money to a much more needing group of people.

Either way, let’s get this shop up and running, eh?

As for him on the field, he is a large reason the Browns lead the NFL in rushing yards. He opens up a lot of holes for guys like Chubb, Hunt, and Johnson to run through. He also keeps Mayfield upright for the most part.

He deserved every single penny of his three-year, $48 million extension.
