Cleveland Browns intercepted Lamar Jackson four times

Cleveland’s defense came to play in this game and though Lamar Jackson was dancing away from the Browns defensive lineman all night, the secondary helped slow down the Raven offense with four interceptions. Though they slowed the Baltimore offense, the Browns offense wasn’t able to do anything with the turnovers.

It was very disappointing to see the Cleveland offense continue to falter off and on all night. But the Browns defense needs to be recognized for their efforts.

Cleveland Browns run game shut down

The Browns running backs were shut down all night as well. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt had a combined nine carries in the first half for 20 yards. Chubb finished the game with only 16 yards on eight carries. Hunt finished with 20 yards on seven carries.

36 yards combined for a team that was averaging 150 yards a game is very poor for a team that relies on the run. Putting the ball in the hands of the quarterback over 30 times and giving the ball to their running backs only 15 times is not the way the Browns win games.

Cleveland now has a week off to try and get things right and their reward for a hard-fought game against Baltimore is a re-match when they do get back on the field in Week 14.
