Stud No. 3 – Donovan Peoples-Jones

After a big drop early in the game of the Week 12 matchup vs. the Baltimore Ravens, Donovan Peoples-Jones had a major redemption game on Sunday. He was fantastic catching the ball and getting open in man coverage (most of the day), but he was also down the field blocking in the running game.

Peoples-Jones ended the day with five catches for 90 yards on seven targets. One of those catches along the sideline was one of the better catches this season. DPJ went up high for a ball, was interfered with, and still found a way to tap both toes in bounds before being forced to the ground.

The Ravens were without their two top corners today, and the Browns were very successful in the first half taking advantage of backup guys. Baker Mayfield was able to line up in the shotgun with no play-action and have success throwing the ball.

Peoples-Jones was by far the best receiver of the day, but let’s not forget that the receivers were all but shut down in the second half. On a few third and mediums, Mayfield had time, but no one to even consider throwing the ball to.
