6 players Cleveland Browns should scout at East-West Shrine Bowl

Cleveland Browns Player to watch No. 2: Thomas Booker, DT, Stanford
The Browns are definitely in need of some new players along the defensive line. Outside of Myles Garrett returning to line up on the edge the team only has a few other linemen definitely returning next season including Tommy Togiai and Jordan Elliott so the need to draft a few players in this area will be vital.
Thomas Booker stands at 6-4 and weighs 310 pounds. He’s described as having good leverage and being very agile. He’s also seen as a player that can get to the opponent’s backfield and create problems for the run game.
He’s projected to be taken anywhere from the fourth round to the seventh round. He played all four years at Stanford and recorded 159 tackles including 59 tackles in his senior campaign in only 12 games played. He also had 9.5 sacks on the quarterback and over 22 tackles for losses. He was also a second-team Pac-12 selection. Make sure to keep your eye on Booker in the East/West Shrine Bowl.
Cleveland Browns Player to watch No. 3: Alec Lindstrom, C/OL, Boston College
An area that is considered a strength of the Browns is their offensive line but with injuries and players may be leaving in the future, it’s always a good plan to stockpile in case things change. Alec Lindstrom, of Boston College, has had a solid college career. He’s considered a very smart player with excellent footwork, speed, and strength. He is also described as being tough as nails and feisty.
He stands at 6-3 and 298-pounds and could certainly take over the center position for the Browns in the near future. He’s likely to be drafted anywhere from the fourth to the sixth round. He has a brother named Chris Lindstrom, who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons as a guard. His brother was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
He has been an ACC first team member for the last two years as well. According to Pro Football Focus, he ranked at No. 3 in pass blocking this season. When the quarterback on Thursday lines up behind the center look for Lindstrom. He certainly would add depth to a position the Browns were having issues with and shuffling players all season long.
