Jarvis Landry could be released by Cleveland Browns to save money

Cleveland Browns: New talent will be drafted
The other part of this possible release of Jarvis Landry for the team is that the Browns have a high draft pick in the first round at No. 13 and likely will be targeting a wide receiver. They also have several other draft picks where the team might pick up a second wide receiver.
Some of the stars coming in at wide receiver this offseason include Garrett Wilson out of Ohio State, Treylon Burk from Arkansas, and Drake London out of USC — and all could potentially be available for the Browns to try and draft.
In addition, there are numerous free-agent wide receivers that the team might want to try and sign. Mike Williams, a free agent after playing with the Los Angeles Chargers the last several years might be someone Cleveland would try and go after. Or there’s a player like Chris Godwin, from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who might be interested in going to a new team like the Browns.
The Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady just retired earlier this week and some of the Tampa Bay players might be looking for a new home.
Either direction the team decides to go or a combination of both would signal that Landry’s time in Cleveland might be coming to an end.
Landry has had many fine moments in Cleveland but many of those types of moments have become more and more scattered. Saving money and knowing that the team can rebuild their wide receiver room sounds like the best move for both the team and player.
