While fans are looking outside the current roster for free agency, Andrew Berry better focus on retaining some current Cleveland Browns players.

With the Super Bowl now behind us, every team has officially entered offseason mode along with the Cleveland Browns. This season certainly ended with disappointment, but as you look at all the talent (especially in the AFC), the road for the Browns doesn’t get any easier.

Joe Burrow (twice a year), Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes all stand in the way of Baker Mayfield and the Browns even making it to the Super Bowl. There’s a scenario where you would have to go through all three of these starting quarterbacks in the playoffs, which would be a complete nightmare.

However, as the Bengals proved this season, it’s all about getting hot at the right time. And this roster certainly has the talent to rip off a chunk of big wins. Especially if they get a quarterback who is healthy back in the lineup.

A lot of the focus at this point has been flipped to the draft and free agency for the Browns. I don’t think anyone expects anything different than a receiver in the first round of the 2022 draft, and there will likely be some additions via free agency at that position as well.

The one thing that I haven’t heard enough talk about, is what happens at a few positions if the Browns aren’t able to re-sign a couple of guys. To this point, it’s almost a forgone conclusion that they’ll be able to keep anyone they want, but I’m not sure that’s the truth.

Here are three positions that could be in trouble after the first few days of free agency.
