Cleveland Browns Round 5 Pick: Cameron Dicker, K, Texas

Okay, so maybe this is breaking the rules, but maybe not. The goal on offense is to score points and while kickers are technically a part of special teams, they’re responsible for a huge percentage of the points a team puts up. That’s why Cameron Dicker is allowed in this “offense only” 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Adding ‘Dicker the Kicker’ would be a huge plus for Cleveland after the way Chase McLaughlin struggled down the stretch. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound kicker hit 86.7 percent of his kicks last season and even punted 47 times for 2,200 yards — meaning he can fill in there in a pinch if needed.

Kicking is a huge part of winning in the NFL and it’s time the Browns land themselves someone they can depend on.

Cleveland Browns Round 6 Pick: Sincere McCormick, RB, UTSA

If D’Ernest Johnson ends up with a contract Cleveland can’t match, they could look to bring in another running back. Demetric Felton is there, but some competition would be nice which is why they pick up Sincere McCormick from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Round 6.

Listed at 5-foot-9 and 205-pounds, McCormick had 4,438 yards from scrimmage and 35 touchdowns in three seasons. He would have a long road ahead of him to make the roster but he has enough talent and vision to make it interesting.

Cleveland Browns Round 7 Pick: Chris Owens, IOL, Alabama

With the final pick in this draft, we grab redshirt senior Chris Owens from Alabama. What makes Owens intriguing for Cleveland is the fact that he played all over the line for the Tide. With limited space available for active players, a guy who can fill in at multiple spots can be very valuable and that’s what Owens can do.
