2022 NFL Combine Breakout Player No. 3 – Treylon Burks, Wide Receiver

One of the most talented guys in the NFL draft this year will be Arkansas wide receiver, Treylon Burks. Not only does he have the size for the position at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, but the guy also has glue-like hands. He doesn’t use his body to catch the ball and has extremely strong hands.

The biggest concerns for Burks are all things that can be taught. He needs to be a better downfield blocker, and he needs to improve his route running. Some who watch film may even call him lazy.

If he comes to the Combine and puts up monster numbers (which many expect), don’t be shocked if scouts forget about the film and rate this guy as the number one receiver in the class.

Burks may not be the perfect fit for the Browns, as is. The team likes to run the ball and needs an efficient route runner who can step in instantly with no grooming. However, with a little motivation and coaching, this guy could be the steal of the draft.

If the Cleveland Browns are truly interested and see potential, they could slide back a few spots in Round 1, collect another draft pick, and still get a talented guy like Burks. Only time will tell what happens to his stock.
