Cleveland Browns Round 2 Pick: Skyy Moore, WR, Western Michigan

When Cleveland is back on the clock in Round 2, they do indeed find themselves with a couple of options at wide receiver. There’s a chance guys such as Goerge Pickens and John Metchie will still be on the board but so too could be Skyy Moore from Western Michigan.

Before the combine, Moore looked to be a Round 3 pick but he cemented himself as a top-50 or 60 player when he ran well in the 40-yard dash and then caught just about everything thrown his way.

Moore doesn’t have elite height at 5-foot-10 but his route running is clean and he has incredibly large and strong hands, which could help him avoid the dropped passes that have plagued this Cleveland receiving corps in recent seasons.

Cleveland Browns Round 3 Pick: Phidarian Mathis, DT, Alabama

With Malik Jackson hitting free agency and Malik McDowell likely never playing again, the Browns are going to need a new defensive tackle. They have hopes for Jordan Elliott and Tommy Togiai but depth will still be needed — and competition is also always accepted.

That’s where Phidarian Mathis comes in. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Mathis had his best campaign in 2021 with 53 tackles and 10 sacks. He’s a massive force in the middle of the line who could help round things out for Cleveland.
