Cleveland Browns Post Watson Move No. 3 – Sign Will Fuller

Do you know how some players just have their guy? Well, Will Fuller is Watson’s guy.

After spending four years together in Houston, the speedy slot receiver has been tied to go wherever he landed. This isn’t a bad signing for the Browns, but they must be careful.

When healthy, Fuller is an elite slot receiver and he would be a fantastic fit with Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and a possible rookie draft pick. However, He has never played in a full season his entire career in the NFL. In fact, he hasn’t played more than 11 games in the last five seasons, with two years of seven or less.

His last year with Watson in Houston was his best. Fuller played in 11 games and had 879 receiving yards to go along with eight touchdowns. Not to mention the duo had a completion rate of 70 percent which is phenomenal.

The price will likely be right because of his motivation to play with Watson and the injuries.  I like the signing, but I still think the team needs to use their second-round pick on a wide receiver to solidify the position.

This rookie wouldn’t be forced to play a ton of snaps early, but would likely get a great opportunity if Fuller does go down with an injury, which seems extremely likely.
