With all the attention on free agency and the upcoming NFL Draft let us not forget about a few current Cleveland Browns that could have breakout seasons

There’s been a lot of chatter in recent weeks about free agents and potential draft picks. It’s normal in this busy NFL offseason but let’s not forget about some of the players on teams that may be waiting in the wings ready to have that breakout season. That’s the case for several Cleveland Browns players who have been part of the team in more of a backup role to this point in their careers but are now on the verge of establishing themselves in the league.

None of these players are going to blow you away with their numbers and their production to this point, but all of them were outstanding collegiate players and should be able to break through this upcoming season.

The Browns need help in several departments. The free-agent market and the impending draft will fill certain holes on the team but these “forgotten” players will also help.

Last season players like Greedy Williams and Grant Delpit, had gotten lost in the shuffle a bit prior to the season starting because of the previous year’s injuries. However, both produced on the field and helped their team to some degree of success. It still bothers me, that after Williams intercepted the late-game pass against the Las Vegas Raiders, Cleveland couldn’t secure the victory. But I digress,

This new batch of players could certainly take a pass back for a “pick 6” or recover a fumble for the scoop and score. With that let’s look at these potential semi-stars for the Browns that may have been forgotten in the past but are ready for their moment.
