Cleveland Browns pick number 223- Cade York, kicker, LSU

Cleveland may have found their answer at punter in free agency but likely are not confident in Chase McLaughlin at kicker. Cade York is a guy you could get later in the draft that has been as consistent as it comes during his time at LSU.

York hasn’t missed an extra point in the past two seasons at LSU going 39-of-39 in 2021 and 36-of-36 in 2020. The Browns missed more than a couple of extra points last season that came back to haunt them at the end of the game.

York didn’t get a ton of field goal chances the last couple of seasons but still went 15-of-18 in 2021 and 18-of-21 in 2020. He finished his career at LSU with a made field goal percentage of 81.8 percent.

Cleveland Browns pick number 246- Jayden Peevy, defensive tackle, Texas A&M

The Browns need more than one defensive tackle and could really be in need of a run-stuffing nose tackle as well. They could go late in the draft for a guy like Jayden Peevy who is 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds with great strength in the interior.

Peevy needs to work on his hands and technique but he sets the anchor well in the middle of the line against the run. He doesn’t have a ton of consistency rushing the passer in the passing game but late in the draft looking for a guy that does one thing well is the way to go.

The Browns have lacked a big immovable object in the middle and Peevy may have the potential to be that.
