Cleveland Browns Free Agent pick up No. 2 – Will Fuller

After Berry traded back from pick No. 44 where there were still a couple of very talented wide receivers available, it became clear he wasn’t done via free agency. The Cleveland Browns still drafted David Bell in Round 3, but I don’t think there are many expectations that he will be a major contributor next season.

Because of the relationship and past history between Watson and Will Fuller, it has been a forgone conclusion that he and the Browns will ink a deal. So, what are we waiting on? It appears to be a bit of a chicken and the mouse game where Berry continues to wait for the price to drop.

Fuller has had a ton of production when he is healthy, but he has yet to complete a full season without an injury. In his six-year career, he has played 11 games or less five times. I have absolutely no issues with bringing on Fuller, but I can’t blame him for waiting for the right price.

The clear one and two receiver options at the moment are Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones. The addition of Bell did help with some depth, but the Browns have to add someone else with some legitimate NFL experience before the end of the season.

We all remember how miserable last season was with basically no talented receiver on the roster for a good portion of the season.
