No. 2: Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets

After three first-round picks in the 2022 NFL draft, many believe that the New York Jets will be one of the most improved teams in the NFL. The good news for the Cleveland Browns, they will still likely be one of the bottom teams in the AFC.

After a rough rookie campaign for Zach Wilson, expectations are high after building an offensive line and adding a few pieces of talent at wide receiver and running back. But I really don’t think they are going to have all the pieces put together by Week 2.

Between this game being the home opener and the Jets just not being that good, not only do the Browns have a fantastic opportunity to win the season opener, but they could also easily start the season at 2-0.

Between the firepower of this offense and the ability to rush the passer on defense, I really see this team being difficult to slow down. Remember, there are certainly some new pieces, but a majority of this defense will be in the system for year two now.

The offense struggled down the back half of the season in 2021, but the defense was able to keep them in every single game.
