No. 3: Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Cleveland Browns will get the Thursday Night game out of the way quickly.
Just three weeks in they will have a short week and get to host division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. With all the quarterback questions in Pittsburgh, this is a game the Browns should and must win.
This is a rivalry that has almost become nonexistent because of the lack of competitiveness from the Browns. With a little success vs. the Bengals and Ravens the last few years, the Steelers are the last cookie to crack for Stefanski.
Don’t think he doesn’t know that, and don’t think this game isn’t circled on the schedule already. It’s extremely important to get off to a hot start, but it’s even more important to get off to a good start within the division.
The AFC is absolutely loaded in 2022, so it becomes even more important to win the “winnable” games on the schedule. With the Browns likely at 2-0 coming into week three, there is no doubt that First Energy Stadium will be rocking for Thursday Night Football.
At 3-0 with a 1-0 record in the division, the Browns will be sitting pretty as they travel to Atlanta and play another bottom feeder in a week four matchup.
Just because the schedule is set up for early success, the Browns must come through and finish the plan.
