Cleveland Browns Week 8: Cincinnati Bengals game

This game is a Monday Night Game on Halloween. That’s the fun part. The hard part is that the Bengals made it to the Super Bowl last season and will be a tough out because they have rising superstars in quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

The Browns have played well against the Bengals in recent years and swept them a year ago. Cincinnati will want to go out in prime time and show the world that they are Super Bowl worthy.

The Browns will have played one Thursday night game earlier in the season when they take a on division rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals will have already played two prime-time games as well so both should be comfortable under the bright lights.

Last season Cleveland played Pittsburgh on Halloween and lost in what some might say was a type of game that shaped their season. Miscues late by the Browns spelled doom.

So Cleveland gets another shot and winning on the scary and spooky holiday and beat a Bengals team that is trying to be the new leaders of the AFC North.

Cleveland Browns Week 18: Pittsburgh Steelers game

This game could end up being the toughest of the season or it could become a meaningless game. Obviously, It’ll depend on what these two teams have done up to that point. In the last several years the last game for these teams has been important.

Two seasons ago, the Browns needed to beat the Steelers at home in the finale to reach the playoffs. They accomplished that and then beat Pittsburgh the following week to stun Pittsburgh fans — and the rest of the NFL.

Beating the Steelers has been a tough task over the last 20 years. They both get to battle it out against each other first in Week 3 of the season on a Thursday Night Game down at First Energy Stadium. That game will likely set the tone for the rest of the year.

By Week 18, there will likely be injuries and storylines that we can’t even predict at this point. But it’s the Steelers and the rivalry between the two teams will make any game between the two always one of the toughest of the season.
