Week 12: Tampa Bay Buccaneers game

This game will be very tough for a variety of reasons, none bigger than having to beat the best quarterback in the NFL in Tom Brady. He tried retiring after the season but that only lasted a few weeks and now he’s back.

The Buccaneers also have a great team in general. They were Super Bowl champions two years ago because of Brady and their excellent defense. They couldn’t repeat that last season but will certainly be back to try and capture another title.

This game will be later in the year and will come after the Browns will have been on the road to play both the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

After this game, the team will have to go back on the road for two more games. So battling a Bucs team in between the road contests will be a real challenge.

The game is also on the Thanksgiving weekend so there will that holiday season vibe in the air.

There could be a lot on the line as well for both teams at this stage of the season.

Cleveland Browns Week 6: New England Patriots game

The Browns got beat badly by the Patriots last season. That should be motivation for Cleveland to play their best game of the early season.

That’s easier said than done. The Patriots have one of the best coaches in the league in Bill Belichick. The former Cleveland coach is very good at putting together game plans that can neutralize other teams’ strengths.

This game will be the week after the Browns had played the Los Angeles Chargers and a week prior to the team having to go on the road and beat a divisional foe in the Baltimore Ravens.

The Browns can’t afford to get embarrassed again like last season when the Patriots played a great game.

It’ll be helpful to have the home crowd behind them in this one. Hopefully, the team can get that added boost from the crowd.

It might be easy to overlook the importance of this game in the scope of the whole season but depending how the team looks after the early part of the year, the expectations to be at their best for a rematch game where the Browns were embarrassed a year before will be vital.
