Cleveland Browns Round 4 Pick: Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama

This offseason, the Cleveland Browns decided to make some changes to their wide receiver room. Gone are fan-favorites such as Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins and in their place are Amari Cooper and David Bell.

They should also use Jakeem Grant often in the passing game and still have Donovan Peoples-Jones. Even Isaiah Weston has an outside chance of making the roster and being a contributor.

Having said all that, the front office also saw how bad things can get when you stay the course at the position. Cleveland had one of the worst receiving corps in 2021 after trying to roll with pretty much the same team from the season before. Hopefully they learned from this, which is why they add more depth with the selection of Jermaine Burton a Georgia transfer who will play for Alabama in 2022.

Burton had 53 receptions for 901 yards with eight touchdowns in two seasons for the Bulldogs and looks to cement his status as a pro-caliber wideout with the Tide this year.

Cleveland Browns Round 4 Pick: PJ Mustipher, DT, Penn State

Perrion Winfrey was the steal of the draft for Cleveland in 2022 and should be a long-term starter at defensive tackle. However, he serves as more of a 3-tech who can get after the quarterback. What they still need is a big-bodied nose tackle, which they land here by taking PJ Mustipher with their second of two picks in Round 4.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 323-pounds, Mustipher is a mountain of a man. He won’t be bullied in the run game and while he offers very little in pass rushing, his ability to close gaps makes him a valuable player — and offers great value at this point.
