Cleveland Browns Round 5 Pick: Mohamoud Diabate, LB, Utah

Mohamoud Diabate spent the past three seasons with the Florida Gators and had a huge season in 2021. As a junior, he had 89 tackles as the 6-foot-3, 227-pounder was able to find the ball continually.

He will play for the Utah Utes in 2022 and as long as he continues to play well, he should be a mid-to-late round pick in the upcoming draft.

For Cleveland, they can use some depth at the position. Sione Takitaki is nearing the end of his rookie contract and outside of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, there aren’t many players on the roster long-term. They also have yet to see if Jacob Phillips can remain healthy.

Adding Diabate should help them get younger and more athletic as they re-stock the shelves.

Cleveland Browns Round 5 Pick: Justin Eboigbe, DL, Alabama

Justin Eboigbe is listed as a defensive end for the Alabama Crimson Tide but he’s also listed at 6-foot-5 and nearly 290-pounds. He could end up playing on the edge on early downs, with the ability to slide inside if needed.

This coming season will be huge for Eboigbe. Alabama sent several players to the pros (as always) which opens up a spot for him to get more snaps. If he capitalizes on those, he should prove to be a solid prospect for NFL teams to look at.
