What have we all not said about Myles Garrett’s greatness and how he’s been a major part of this team’s turnaround into a legitimate contender. He was drafted No. 1 in 2017 and has been all business ever since. His ability to cause havoc on his opponents and force teams to plan how to guard him to help protect their own quarterbacks is impressive.

Garrett signed his contract extension a couple of seasons ago and that will keep him in Cleveland at least through 2026. He continues to get better and better every year. He broke the Browns record for sacks in a season with 16 in 2021. He has already recorded 58.5 sacks in his career. He’s also totaled over 203 tackles and had 116 quarterback hits in his time with the team.

He’s been selected as a first-team All-Pro in the NFL the last two seasons and been to the Pro Bowl three times.

Because he’s so talented teams are usually double or triple-teaming Garrett. At times that has to be frustrating to the player, but Garrett has always been tough in that department.

He did have a huge lapse in judgment when he took a swing of a helmet at the Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback, Mason Rudolph, three seasons ago which led to a suspension. Despite that moment, Garrett has been a stellar representative of the team and the community that adores him for his efforts.
