Cleveland Browns Free Agent Singing No. 2 – T.Y. Hilton

player. Colts. T.Y.Hilton. 2. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. 46

Ever since the Deshaun Watson signing, all we have heard about is Will Fuller to the Cleveland Browns. And while it makes a lot of sense, I’m tired of speaking it into existence and ready to look at other options. T.Y. Hilton is another guy that has had some injuries the last few seasons but has had success in the past.

I don’t think you’d be singing the league leader in receiving that he was in 2016, but in the right scheme, I certainly think you can get a solid third receiver who could put up 700 to 1,000 yards receiving with six to seven touchdowns.

Hilton is in a tough spot in Indianapolis where he has spent his entire career. Fans want him to return to his 2016 self, but unfortunately, he is a 32-year-old guy who has started to see a decline in production.

There is definitely some risk to a signing like this, as you may see zero production. But at this point, I think the asking price would be relatively low, and having a veteran who has a ton of playoff experience could be huge for the group.

Hilton would have to accept the role as a mentor instead of the number one option, but I think he could fit in really well with the Browns. The question remains, is he ready for this step in his career?
