Cleveland Browns Wide Receivers (6):

Amari Cooper
Donovan Peoples-Jones
David Bell
Jakeem Grant
Anthony Schwartz
Isaiah Weston

Entering training camp, the wide receiver position already looks vastly different for the Browns than it did at this time a year ago. Both Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry are gone and they have a new No. 1 in Amari Cooper.

A former star with the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys, Cooper was traded for a mere fifth-round pick since Dallas decided back in 2019 to give a running back a six-year deal with a ton of guarantees. With them overly committed to Ezekiel Elliott, they had to make some concessions and Cleveland was the beneficiary.

While Cooper is the clear-cut top dawg, the Browns are hoping Donovan Peoples-Jones can take a step forward as the second option. He led the team with 597 yards receiving a year ago and seems to be on the verge of stardom.

Third is David Bell, who was a complete machine at Purdue. However, slow times in the 40-yard dash hurt his stock which helped GM Andrew Berry pull off another steal, landing him in Round 3. So far in minicamps, Bell has caught just about everything thrown his way.

Behind them, there’s a lot of talent that needs refinement with Jakeem Grant — a speedster who will star as a return man — Anthony Schwartz, and Isaiah Weston. Schwartz and Weston both need to prove they can make it in the NFL but the front office won’t give up on Schwartz just yet and releasing Weston would almost guarantee he would be claimed elsewhere.
