Cleveland Browns: 5 dream scenarios for upcoming 2022 season

Cleveland Browns dream scenario No. 3: Nick Chubb wins NFL rushing title
Nick Chubb is the heart and soul of the Browns. But him having consistently good seasons doesn’t always project good things for his team. I’m dreaming that maybe that scenario changes this next campaign and that him winning the NFL rushing title will guarantee a playoff run for his team as well.
Chubb would have won the title back in 2019, but his coach Freddie Kitchens didn’t utilize him enough, especially in the last few games of the season and he lost the title in the last week of the year. He still collected 1,494 yards that year — his current teammate Kareem Hunt won the rushing title in 2017 with only 1,327 yards gained.
There’s obviously quality competition this next season including Jonathon Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts and Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans. A lot is getting written these days, especially about Taylor, the former Wisconsin Badger, and his excellence as a running back. And yet Chubb has produced just as well and done that consistently for four years now.
The season competition will be fun to monitor as the season progresses, but my money is on Chubb. And even if he were to lose to someone else, winning games will always be priority No. 1 for Chubb and that’s why fans of Browns know he is one of the most valued members of the team.
