. . . Myles Garrett. 4. player. 53

No. 4: Myles Garrett, DE

What else can Myles Garrett do to try and show that he’s one of the best in the league at the defensive end position? He’s been double and triple-teamed his whole career. Some that have criticized Garrett over the years have suggested he’s not doing enough and that his numbers every year dwindle as the season winds down.

Let us all remember that Garrett broke the single-season sack total for a Brown at 16 this past year. I expect him to go by that record again this season.

He has the luxury of having teammate Jadeveon Clowney playing alongside him again this year and both should have great seasons like a year ago.

Garrett is much more than a sack machine. He’s a huge disruption in opponents’ backfields. Every season he forces fumbles makes quarterbacks nervous and forces them to hurry their passes that have led to interceptions. He’s had 11 forced fumbles in his career. Last season he took his one forced fumble of the season in the Baltimore Ravens game back for a touchdown.

In 2020 he forced four fumbles. Hopefully, Garrett will top that with five. He’s continually considered one of the best defensive ends in the league. This season in recent rankings by NFL executives and players, ESPN writer Jeremy Fowler shared that Garrett finished as the No. 2 ranked end behind only T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers. That’s only because Watt had a career-best 22.5 sacks last season.

This will only fuel Garrett to top Watt this next season. Look for another showcase of Garrett’s talents this season.
