David Njoku will be entering year No. 6 with the Browns. He just re-signed with the team and should be a primary target in the offense now that his teammate and fellow tight end Austin Hooper was released by the Browns this past offseason.

Njoku has had a nice career in Cleveland so far and this could be a season to remember for one of the team’s most reliable players. His best statistical campaign was back in 2018 when he collected 56 catches for 639 yards and four touchdowns. Last season, even with a crowded tight end room he had 36 receptions for 475 yards and four touchdowns.

The other Browns tight end is Harrison Bryant, and he should have another steady season. But Njoku should be one of the team’s primary offensive weapons this season.

I can see a 60 to 70 receptions season and Njoku topping 700 yards. And let’s hope he can top that four touchdowns mark.

With all the offensive weapons from Njoku to Cooper and let’s not forget about the team’s stellar running backs in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, the Browns should be primed for a great year.

There will always be a few surprises during any season but if these veterans have career years or are close to them, then Cleveland will have a lot to celebrate.
