Pittsburgh Steelers dangerous player No.1- T.J. Watt, EDGE

One of the most popular football debates each year is who is the best edge player in the NFL, T.J. Watt or Myles Garrett? Watt is absolutely one of the best defensive players in the NFL and he has such a knack for coming up clutch. Not only is he constantly causing distress for the quarterback but it almost always comes exactly when the Steelers need it.

Watt continued the trend he has every year of his career by surpassing his sack number from the previous season. In 2021 he finished with 22.5 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, 52 total pressure, and missing 13 tackles. Watt also forced 5 fumbles last season doing it often when the Steelers defense really needed a turnover for a struggling offense.

Watt has such a knack for coming barreling around the edge and attacking the football to force turnovers and game-changing plays for the Steelers. He is just a player that causes your offensive coordinator to have nightmares the week they are playing.

With Hayward and Watt on the same defensive line, the Steelers’ defense will continue to be a major problem for the Cleveland Browns.
