3 most important Cleveland Browns in 2022 that aren’t starters

Impactful Cleveland Browns reserve No. 1 – Jacoby Brissett
I don’t think anyone is surprised to see Jacoby Brissett, while the rumors have swirled that a suspension for Watson could be less than eight games, there is almost no doubt Brissett will be the starter for Cleveland, at least for a few weeks.
The former third-round pick hasn’t had a ton of success as a starter in the league at 14-23 over a six-year career, but he has shown glimpses of being a very capable backup. The Browns schedule is somewhat friendly in the former part of the season, but it gets difficult quickly and the AFC North is set to be a blood bath once again.
Luckily for Brissett, the Browns will likely be the most talented offense he has ever commanded. The Colts and Patriots each had a few weapons, but none have had the offensive line and running game that the Browns should possess in 2022.
There isn’t a need for Brissett to go out and throw for 400 yards, heck even 300 yards. He needs to be efficient, make good reads, and not turn the football over. If he can keep it to less than 20 throws a game, I think the Browns stand a chance to go 500 or better with him as the starter.
No doubt about it, if Watson is suspended more than four games, a lot of pressure will be on Brissett on how the 2022 season unfolds.
