Top 10 Cleveland Browns of 2022: Where does Nick Chubb land?
By John Suchan
No. 8 Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB
Like the aforementioned Greg Newsome, linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, or called JOK, will be looking to dazzle in his second season with the Browns. His speed and knack for finding the ball and his tackling skill set will have him being another rising star in the league.
He certainly made the Browns better after just one season in the league and was a steal as a Round 2 selection.
PFF recently ranked JOK as the 13th-best linebacker in the league and he was listed in the young ascending group that looks to become elite soon.
Last season, JOK tallied 76 tackles, had 1.5 sacks, forced two fumbles, and had four quarterback hits. He started 10 games last year and missed four games in the middle of the season due to injury. He did a lot for the time he was out there.
Having a veteran linebacker teammate like Anthony Walker will help the younger JOK and the emergence of third-year player, Jacob Phillips back there in the middle of the defense with his speed and solid linebacker play will only make JOK’s talents more noticeable.
Round 2 has been kind to the Browns lately but Owusu-Koramoah is clearly their best find in that round in recent memory.
