Undrafted rookie who may make the roster No. 2- Mike Harley Jr., wide receiver, Miami (FL.)

Mike Harley has gotten the attention of media and fans during the offseason workouts as a guy who consistently made play after play. When you go look at him on film at Miami he is just a reliable player that is always in the right place at the right time. He’s also a true slot receiver which the Browns currently don’t have on the roster.

David Bell is expected to take most of the reps in the slot but it isn’t his natural position like it is for Harley. With Bell on the PUP (physically unable to perform list) to start training camp, this could open the door for Harley to make waves. There is a lot of Jarvis Landry in his game just a guy that understands his role and skillset, how to get open, and how to move the chains.

Harley has some speed showing up with a 4.46 40-yard time at his pro day so his straight-line speed isn’t something to laugh at. He has some nice moves in the open field to shake a defender and take a short pass for a big play. Harley has a chance to prove that a reliable playmaker has a spot on this team in 2022.
