Defensive Line (9):

Myles Garrett
Jordan Elliott
Taven Bryan
Jadeveon Clowney
Alex Wright
Chase Winovich
Tommy Togiai
Perrion Winfrey
Isaiah Thomas

Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney make up one of the best starting duos at defensive end in the NFL. Clowney had a resurgence last season, which was his first with the Browns, when he recorded nine sacks. He also helped take pressure off of Garrett, who had a career-high 16 sacks.

They have several options behind them in Alex Wright, who played much better against Philly than he did in Jacksonville, and Isaiah Wright. Both are rookies but could be part of the rotation. Their veteran reserve is Chase Winovich, who had 11 sacks in his first two seasons with the Patriots but saw his numbers dip last season.

While they’re strong at defensive end, they have just as many questions at tackle. Jordan Elliott and Taven Bryan should be the starters this year and Elliott has looked stronger. Bryan is capable as a pass rusher but needs work as a run-stopper.

The same can be said of Perrion Winfrey who has struggled in the preseason. Tommy Togiai was a popular pick last year out of Ohio State and had just 16 tackles as a rookie. He’s going to be counted on to show improvement in his second season.
