Browns Key to Victory No. 1: Nick Chubb

Unfortunately, we aren’t in the mid-1990s, or the Cleveland Browns would be one of the best teams in the league with their running game. Nick Chubb continues to amaze as he looks to lose three yards and then turns it into a six-yard gain.

There won’t be a ton of games this year where the Browns can just rely on the Chubb to win for them, but the Jets may be an opponent where feeding Chubb and Kareem Hunt may be enough to get the job done.

It’s not always the most fun thing to watch as a fan, but a win is a win in this league, and they all count the same. The offensive line struggled at times vs. the edge rush, but they continue to show they can open massive holes even in a loaded box.

You’re never going to see a running back get 30 carries every week in today’s game, but I think a huge key to victory on Sunday will be to wear the Jets defense out and keep the Browns defense fresh. If Chubb can squeeze out a few first downs in the fourth quarter and keep the clock running, the Browns have a fantastic shot at moving to 2-0.

There will be no time to rest with a short week and the Steelers coming to town on Thursday night, but hey, playing for 3-0 would be a pretty sweet feeling.
