3 offensive players that shined for the Browns in Week 2
By Jacob Roach
No. 1: Nick Chubb, running back
Sunday was just another day at the office for running back Nick Chubb who continues to make playing the position look easy. After 141 yards rushing in Week 1 against the Panthers he followed it up with 17 carries for 87 yards and three touchdowns against the Jets. Chubb averaged over five yards a carry yet again something that he has done over the course of his career.
When you look at the yardage total of 87 yards you might not be that impressed but it was the way he got those yards that were impressive. It doesn’t matter if you stack the box against him he will find a running lane to get positive yards play after play. He will slam into the defense to wear them out and break one later in the game.
For Browns fans, the things that Chubb does on a weekly basis are just commonplace and a lot of fans just expect him to be great each week. Chubb is truly a talented and special player and everyone watching should enjoy every second of this great player doing great things for the Browns.
