Similarly to David Njoku, Donovan Peoples-Jones has made huge strides during this season, specifically in recent weeks. He has been an excellent deep threat for the offense, and seems to make a big play in every game.

His 37-yard reception in the fourth quarter on Sunday would’ve made a massive impact had the Browns finished the drive with a field goal.

The third-year receiver out of Michigan has shown flashes of his ability in his first two seasons but has struggled to find consistency throughout his career so far.

However, Peoples-Jones has become a much larger part of the offense in the past four weeks and played his most consistent stretch of football of his career. He has received 26 targets over the past four games and has over 50 receiving yards in every matchup.

Despite the Browns record, it is a great sign for the team that both Njoku and Peoples-Jones have proved to be reliable secondary targets for Jacoby Brissett. Their play will only improve with Deshaun Watson under center, and Browns fans can expect both of them to be a major part of the offense for years to come.
