1. Anthony Schwartz, Wide Receiver

Despite his struggles to catch the ball, the Cleveland Browns have been reluctant to give up on wide receiver Anthony Schwartz. The 2021 third-round pick was brought in due to his incredible speed but his route running has been a mess and even worse is the fact that he’s struggled to catch much of anything.

Cleveland has tried to force him into the game plan with some runs and screen passes but through 20 career games, he has just 11 catches for 154 yards and eight rushes for 59 yards. What’s worse is that 69 of those passing yards came in his debut as did 17 of his yards as a runner. That means after that Week 1 game in 2020, he has just 85 yards receiving and 42 on the ground in 19 games.

This year, he’s been a non-factor and the coaching staff might have finally given up as he was a healthy scratch in Week 7. As bad as it looks, there’s still a chance they can fleece someone for a fifth-or-sixth-round pick in order to acquire his services.

His track speed was enough to entice the Browns and would surely get another general manager’s attention. There has to be some team out there that believes their offense is good enough that Schwartz can find a way to get deep and make a splash play for them. If so, Cleveland needs to make the trade and just move on.
