2. Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos

One of the most surprising names on the trade block in the NFL this season is Jerry Jeudy of the Denver Broncos. Jeudy was a popular candidate to have a breakout 2022 season but has been unable to provide consistent production this season due to the overall struggles of the Broncos’ offense.

Jeudy is the perfect fit for this Browns’ scheme, as he is a talented young receiver who is capable of playing outside and in the slot. Acquiring Jeudy would give the Browns a very strong receiver room, with Amari Cooper leading a group of talented young receivers.

Acquiring a talented receiver may look like a questionable move, as Jacoby Brissett is struggling to support even our top two receivers in Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones. However, when Deshaun Watson eventually returns, the passing game will noticeably expand and the offense should be able to support all three receivers. This potential move would give Cleveland one of the strongest receiver groups in the NFL for the next couple of years, but the cost may be too high.

A trade for Jeudy would likely not come cheap, as he’s a talented young receiver in the third year of his rookie contract. If the Browns are able to acquire Jeudy at a good price, then they may not be able to pass him up. However, if they have to give up significant draft capital, the move doesn’t make much sense, as there are more critical needs for the team on the defensive side of the ball. The Browns may look to find a cheaper option at receiver, such as the No. 1 player on this list.
