No. 2: Houston’s 32nd-ranked run defense

The Browns’ offensive line and running back Nick Chubb must be excited to face the defense ranked 32nd in rushing yards allowed per game at 168.6 yards per game. Cleveland has leaned on the running game and with Deshaun Watson adding the threat of running from the quarterback position it likely will be a big part of the game plan.

Watson also presenting more of a threat in the passing game than Jacoby Brissett won’t allow Houston to stack the box against the run as others have done this season. Chubb is coming off another 100-yard rushing game and is averaging an impressive 5.2 yards per carry while already crossing the 1,000-yard plateau this season.

Kareem Hunt has been looking better in the last few games and will enjoy plenty of touches against this weak front. The Texans just don’t have the players or talent to match up very well against the Browns’ rushing attack.

The offensive line has been dealing with some injuries and has not been as dominant as fans have come accustomed to since Kevin Stefanski arrived. But they have an incredibly favorable matchup this weekend and the run game will play a big part if the team is to grab win number five.
