Browns vs. Saints

Jarvis Landry gave his all for four seasons with the Browns. He was credited with turning things around in the locker room — and for that, he was often called contagious. But in a good way.

In the offseason, he was released in a salary-cap move but his return to Cleveland will likely not be a revenge game for him when the Saints come marching into Northeast Ohio on Christmas Eve.

New Orleans isn’t a very good football team this season, but then again, who in the NFC South actually is? The homecoming of Landry hasn’t gone as planned either, Michael Thomas is likely done for the season yet again, and Alvin Kamara is having a very pedestrian year for his standards.

The Browns’ run defense will need to hone in on Kamara despite his subpar year, as he is an electrifying playmaker, which hasn’t been the case this year. We have seen where Cleveland has let teams not as good running the ball run all over them.

With all that said, the offense of Cleveland should be able to get out to a lead and build from there. The Saints allow 23.3 points per game whereas the Browns score 23.9, but could go up with Watson under center.
