2. Kareem Hunt, running back

Sunday’s win against the Texans may have been the best game of the year for running back Kareem Hunt. Hunt finished with nine carries on the ground for 56 yards as well as two catches for 18 yards on three targets.

But even more than what the box score shows is the power and authority that Hunt ran with this week. At times he seemed to be punishing defenders with the authority he was running with trying to create contact not avoid it. When he plays the way he did this week complimenting Nick Chubb it’s when the Browns are their most dangerous.

It has been a rollercoaster season for Hunt, starting in training camp when he requested a trade, so to see him start to play better has been good. When Chubb and Hunt are feeding off each other and matching each other’s energy this offense is tough to stop.

In a game in which the quarterback wasn’t a major factor having the luxury to lean on two good backs is huge for the team. If Hunt continues to play like he did Sunday for the remaining five games this offense and team will have a chance to make some noise.
