2. Mecole Hardman, Wide Receiver

In Week 13 against the Houston Texans, we saw how easy it is to start getting too thin at wide receiver with the way this Cleveland Browns roster is currently constructed. Both David Bell and Anthony Schwartz were banged up and had to exit the game.

That left just Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones — although they did use Demetric Felton in the position as well. They were also without David Njoku who was dealing with a knee injury but we saw that the depth is less than ideal.

With that being said, the Browns need to go out this offseason and add some help. One player who is set to hit the open market and would be a great addition is Mecole Hardman, currently of the Kansas Chiefs.

Hardman was a second-round pick out of Georgia back in 2019 and while he’s never developed into an elite wideout, he’s always been a dangerous weapon. He had an 83-yard receiving touchdown as well as a 104-yard kickoff return during his rookie campaign. His best campaign on offense came in 2021 when he had 59 receptions for 693 yards but hasn’t been as effective this year.

That could lead to him hitting the open market and if he did, the Browns would be smart to add him to the mix. Putting him at WR3 along with DPJ and Cooper would be dangerous.
