Browns studs and duds: Safeties shine in Week 15 win over Ravens

Browns stud: Deshaun Watson, Quarterback

It might not have been the best game of his career, but Deshaun Watson led the Browns to a win in his first home game in Cleveland. He finished with 161 yards and a touchdown on 18-of-28 passing but did enough to put his team in the lead.

His lone touchdown came in the third quarter and gave the Browns a 10-point lead.

From there, they were able to turn things over to Nick Chubb who ran the ball well and killed the clock. That’s the perfect formula for this offense as they’re built to hold onto a lead, which they did this entire game.

Browns stud: Myles Garrett, EDGE

The Ravens tried to stay away from Myles Garrett for much of the day. Tyler Huntley was trying to get the ball out fast and was quick to run when the pressure got close. But they couldn’t stay away from him for the entire game.

Late in the fourth quarter, Garrett recorded his first sack as he got to Huntley on first down as Baltimore was trying to get back into the game. On the very next play, he met Huntley in the backfield again, this time sharing a half-sack with Perrion Winfrey.

Garrett now has 13.5 sacks on the season with four games left to play. He’s made it known he wants to be the sack leader in the NFL.

He’s still behind Matthew Judon — who has yet to play this weekend — with 14.5 sacks and Nick Bosa — who did play on Thursday — with 15.5. Even if he doesn’t get the title, he’s put together another amazing individual season.
