Cleveland Browns bold prediction No. 2: Browns surrender just 10 points

It was already mentioned earlier that Cleveland’s defense has shown improvement over the past few weeks. This doesn’t mean all their issues are solved, and we saw that with their run defense over the past two games.

Still, they deserve credit for turning things around following a horrendous start to the season. Rather than completely falling apart — which it seemed they would do when the finger-pointing began — they’ve become a decent group capable of making situational stops.

They’re also coming off a game where they gave up just three points and while it’s easy to shrug and say it was against a backup, they still did what they had to do which is a confidence booster.

Now, they have another shot at performing well with more frigid conditions and a team that doesn’t play well on the ground heading to Northeast Ohio.

New Orleans isn’t accustomed to this weather, even with guys such as Andy Dalton and Jarvis Landry who played in Cincinnati and Cleveland respectively. That should play right into Cleveland’s hands as they use a similar formula to the one they had in Week 15 — run the ball on offense and keep the opponent on the sideline so they can’t get into a rhythm.

With that happening, this prediction is that they will hold the Saints to 10 points or fewer.
