Cleveland Browns bold prediction No. 1: Cleveland runs for 175 yards

Nick Chubb is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs.

In a day and age where athletes love to talk, Chubb is the king of saying very little. This week, however, he’s opened up a bit more than usual. One thing he really touched on was the return of Jarvis Landry, a former teammate of who Chubb is very fond.

Another topic he spoke on was the cold weather, saying they were preparing for the frigid temperatures. But in typical Chubb fashion, his response to how a team prepares for that was short and to the point.

Chubb is in the midst of his best season as a pro, already putting up 1,252 yards and 12 touchdowns. He’s tied his personal best for touchdown runs in a season and is just 242 yards away from his best yardage total, with three games to play.

The one thing that could really prevent him from topping both of those marks could be an injury as he’s currently dealing with a foot issue that limited him in practice on Tuesday. There’s still a strong belief he will play but even if he doesn’t, Cleveland is going to rely on the ground game — and Kareem Hunt, D’Ernest Johnson, and Jerome Ford are all capable of racking up the yardage on New Orleans and their 23rd ranked run defense.

That’s why this final prediction is that Cleveland leans heavily on their backs on Christmas Eve and runs for at least 175 yards in a victory over the Saints.
