Stud: Deshaun Watson, QB

This was the game we’ve been waiting for. Deshaun Watson was a big-time playmaker in Houston but entered Sunday with just two touchdowns in four starts. It appeared as though the issues remained in this one as they managed just three points but then the dam broke in the second half.

Watson hit Amari Cooper for a 46-yard touchdown and that was enough to get him in rhythm. No. 4 would up throwing two more scores, hitting Donovan Peoples-Jones in the third quarter and again finding Cooper in the fourth.

The numbers overall weren’t too crazy — other than the touchdowns — as he had 169 yards on 9-of-18 passing. However, all but 23 of those yards were in the second half and he added 31 yards on the ground as well.

Cleveland took a lot of heat for adding Watson and he showed in this one why they believed it would be worth it.

Stud: Nick Chubb, RB

This could just be the norm for Nick Chubb who is pretty much a stud every week. The star running back had just five rushes in the first half as the Browns really didn’t even see the field in the second quarter. He then got nine carries in the second half and made the most of them.

Chubb finished with 104 yards on his 14 attempts with a long of 35. He’s now just 46 yards from his career-high and can top his touchdown total as well in Week 18 with one more.
