Cleveland Browns All-Pro: Myles Garrett, Edge Rusher

Defensive end Myles Garrett was named to the All-Pro Second Team after another strong campaign. He’s made either the first or second team in each of the past four seasons.

This year, he again tied for most sacks in a season in team history with 16 — tying his own record set in 2021. In addition to the sacks, Garrett also had a career-best 60 tackles, which included 18 for losses. In addition, he got better at using his hands to deflect quarterback passes and forced two fumbles.

Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers and Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys took home first-team honors this time. That should give Garrett something to fight for next season as far as individual honors.

Garrett had a year to remember and forget at the same time. He, unfortunately, had a car accident earlier in the year that forced him out of action for a game. Then he had some issues with coaches and their decisions that were somewhat made public, and he was disciplined for not reporting an absence from practice using the right protocol. However, he has become one of the faces of the franchise and earning a distinction as Second Team All-Pro is a nice way to reward his individual success in 2022.
