Cleveland Browns All-Pro: Joel Bitonio, LG

Joel Bitonio is becoming the Browns newest iron man, playing in every game, and on every snap for the past six seasons. That consistency and his ability to maul defensive tackle in the run game has helped the Browns lead one of the best rushing attacks in the league.

He still has some time to go in order to be in Joe Thomas’ territory, but his string of games played is pretty impressive. He’s now been honored with this First-Team All-Pro status for the second time in his career and has also been named the second team three other seasons.

The former Nevada Wolfpack star was drafted by Cleveland back in 2014 and is the longest-tenured player on the roster. When he was drafted, he was overshadowed by quarterback Johnny Manziel and a cornerback named Justin Gilbert. Strange, how things work out as Bitonio is the last man standing — and the only one of those three that wasn’t a bust.

Bitonio is becoming a fan favorite too, and when the question of who has been one of the best Cleveland Browns players since their return in 1999 he was voted highly by the fans base. That hard work and not missing a beat shows a dedicated player.

The small group selected to All-Pro Teams each year is very small so earning such an honor is a big deal and the Browns and these players should be proud of their individual efforts.
