Now, let’s get into my best bet for the weekend.
Best NFL Divisional Round Bet
This total is way too low for two of the NFL’s best offenses. Early season narratives surrounding each defense are dragging the total down, but that gives us a fantastic opportunity to take the over.
Last weekend, Dak Prescott played one of the finest games of his career against the Bucs with four total TDs, and Brock Purdy threw for over 300 yards with three TDs himself. With both playing at such a high level, we should see points in bunches.
Recent trends on both sides support a high-scoring game too. The over is 6-1 in San Francisco’s last seven games, including hitting in four straight as the 49ers scored at least 37 points in each contest.
The over is also 5-2 in Dallas’ last seven games with the Cowboys scoring 27 or more points in nine of their last 10 matchups.
Early in the season, these defenses were considered the strength of each team. However, both have withered of late while the offenses surged. The 49ers, for example, ranked 26th in opponent yards per play (6.1) over the last three weeks but led the league in yards per play (6.8).
