The Cleveland Browns welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Cleveland Browns Stadium this Sunday for their Week 6 matchup.
San Francisco is currently undefeated and looking to remain atop the National Football League’s power rankings.
Keep an eye on these three 49ers as they look to keep their perfect season alive.
3. Brock Purdy, QB
Mr.Irrelevant has been nothing but relevant this season.
Purdy is eighth in passing yards with 1,271, one of two starting quarterbacks not to throw an interception, and has nine passing touchdowns.
The Iowa State product has no problem moving the chains, Purdy has thrown for 66 first downs through five weeks, which is fifth most in the NFL.
Look for Purdy to use any one of the many weapons surround he has at his disposal on his stacked offense to get the 49ers into the endzone early and often.
2. Brandon Aiyuk, WR
The fourth-year wide receiver out of Arizona State leads San Francisco in receiving yards with 378 (94.5 YPG), as well as receptions with 21.
Brandon Aiyuk is also second among receivers in touchdown receptions with two.
Aiyuk has 20 first-down receptions under his belt in four games, eight more than Christian McCaffrey, making him Purdy’s go-to guy when extending drives.
Aiyuk has broken the 100 receiving yard mark twice this season, first against the Steelers in week one with 129 then again in week three against the Cardinals.
Look for Brandon Aiyuk to try and get the ball into scoring position as he is Purdy’s top pass catcher this week, as he has the opportunity to maje it three time this year with another 100 yard game.
1. Fred Warner, LB
San Francisco’s two time Pro Bowl linebacker is having a fantastic start to his 2023 season.
The 26-year old leads the 49ers in tackles with 41 (29 Solo - 12 Assisted - 3 For Loss), two sacks, two quartrback hits, an interception and a forced fumble.
Warner was a huge contributor in the Niners' 42-10 victory over Dallas, becaming the first player to record a sack, an interception, and a forced fumble in a game since Navorro Bowman did it in 2013 with the 49ers.
Warner was named NFC Player Of The Week for his dominating performance against the Dallas Cowboys last week.
Look for Fred Warner to force Cleveland to move the ball through the air more than they would like without Deshaun Watson by shutting down the brown and orange run game from the first whistle until the last.
