The Bye Week Sucks

So the running joke this week was to take the bye and the points, sadly I too may have had to favor the bye if I where an odds maker.

Any who, there is some good news out of Berea.  For starters it appears that we will finally see Donte’ Stallworth on the field, instead of roaming the sidelines.  As well vertern LB Willie “I probably would be better served as teaching Alex Hall from the sidelines” McGinnest, will be back too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, so that was sarcasim for those of you who missed it. Willie has been pretty much a no show since day one, but hopefully the young guys have learned something, because McGinnest doen’t need to be brought back next season.

Speaking of next season, am I the only one who spent the bye week thinking we need to switch to the 4-3?? I mean you stick Shaun Rogers, Corey Williams, Shaun Smith, and Robaire Smith at DT and use Kamerion Whimbley, Alex Hall, and Louis Leonard as your DE.  Then at LB you’ll still have Leon Williams, D’Qwell Jackson, Beau Bell and the slew of other roster fillers.  Granted you would probaly need to address another Defenseive end spot and line-backer too, not to mention CB too (If either Vonte Davis or Malcom Jenkins are available, I say draft them, oh but would Bennie Wells look nice in brown and orange too).

And one last piece, seems that ESPN likes the Browns 7th round pick Alex Hall, who just so happens to be tied for the team lead in sacks at 2.  They really think that he could be a great steal of the draft and become one of the biggest contributors to any AFC North team from this past draft class
